We just got bObsweep a few weeks ago. It’s not quite a miracle machine, but still does the job pretty well. The kids are pretty excited about it, they even pick up their toys off the floor so they don´t block bOb! We sometimes gets frustrated when bOb goes over and over again on the same spot, and I personally find the algorithm poor. I have thought of switching to more expensive robots that follow a mapping system and have cameras but at the same time I know that because the suction power is not that high in robot vacuums, they do not clean everything without going over the same spot a couple of times. bObsweep for example does not clean the carpet perfectly unless when it goes in circles and overlaps the same spot again and again. So there are some shortcomings with bOb but I think the advantages outweigh them. Our experience in a nut shell so far: bobsweep is a good buy and not that expensive: great tool for busy people. I just hope it doesn’t break soon like most gadgets do these days…
